I am especially interested in the experiences of diverse students who are taking college-level courses while still in high school—students who must balance multiple expectations, identities, and institutional cultures at the same time. These students are often asked to perform like college students while still being treated like high school students, and their voices are too often missing from how programs are designed, evaluated, and improved. My Program Audit and Assessment Services help access programming to identify how students truly experience learning systems designed to support their success.

Using both qualitative and quantitative user experience research methods—with a focus on students who are navigating the high-school-to-college-transition—I examine how program structures, advising practices, instructional praxis and pedagogy, communication systems, and digital and physical learning environments essentially shape student access, belonging, and academic readiness. My approach centers student voice and transforms data into clear, actionable insights for program improvement through learning of students experiences.
Automotive Billing Solutions℠
Starting as an assistant biller and title clerk in Highland Park, in Detroit, I learned hands-on the critical responsibility of title compliance, car deal lifecycle management, and the countless hours and costly losses of process errors. As I advanced, I learned on-the-job the brevity of this critical position within dealership operations, and the absence of experiencing dedicated training and development for ongoing success.
Armed with close to 20 years of experience and knowledge of dealership workflow, my dealer services began as a fill-in when billers were absent. Then, I began to work to identify what’s working well and where process failures are, reducing costly billing and documentation errors, and strengthening internal controls for audit readiness and risk management. I created Automotive Billing Solutions℠ as training and learning, from introduction to advanced regulatory compliance and process optimization for:
- Car deal breakdown and submission,
- Document and form completion,
- CVR and Secretary of State,
- Title and registration processing, title maintenance
- Auditing, and internal compliance checks and balances.
With deep expertise in dealership operations and automotive compliance requirements, Automotive Billing Solutions℠ supports billers, title clerks, sales and management teams in building accurate, efficient, and effectively compliant workflows.
Instructional Design & OTL
After leaving the dealerships as a full time biller, I became a government contracts specialist where I experienced ad-hoc training. Similar to my auto biller experience, there wasn’t any dedicated training available. The learn-as-you-go situational training did not provide an inclusive view of the process and importance of government contracts regulatory compliance expected within this role.

Now, as an experienced classroom and online teacher, professor, and instructor, I provide instructional design and professional training development services that support learners where they are:
- English Language Arts secondary teacher education; PRE MTTC Exam prep
- Automotive billing and title clerk processes, compliance and cost accounting
- Technical and professional communication curriculum and pedagogy
- Experience Architecture/User Experience (XA/UX)
- Writing center consultant training,
- First-year writing programs.
- Anti-racist pedagogy and social justice frameworks (UXRS)
From online, self-directed learning, compliance-focused, to applied instructional methods, I work to design scalable, learner-centered content and curriculum that align with learning and professional development outcomes across institutional and industry spaces.
